Next Event: May 17 - Forgath Manor - Iron Chef
On June 24, 2018, twelve Scouts and two adults went to Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch - Camp Chris Dobbins for a week of fun and learning. During the week 2 more adults joined us for part of the week.
The Scoutmaster got to sit at camp and talk, while we ran around working on our merit badges. Scouts worked on a total of 38 merit badges and several of us also spent time working on our “Journey to Eagle” Requirements.
Some of our favorite parts were GaGa ball, our campsite (Stillwater), Flags and campfires.
It was very hot during the week with temperatures that reached 100 degrees, so the word of the week was hydration. We adopted a Scout from Texas. We had fun saying “Hi Sarah!” to one of our campsite visitors.
